NORM/LSA decontamination

We decontaminate radioactively contaminated equipment, materials and tubes damage-free, quickly and cost-effectively through our innovative cleaning methods. This takes place at our 20,000 m2 site in Ter Apel the Netherlands and Gußnitz Germany. Always safe for humans and animals and carried out according to the applicable NORM and LSA regulations. Our radiation experts do this in-house at RPE and RPO level.

We promote reuse by dismantling and decontaminating contaminated material from old, cleaned-up oil and gas wells. Cleanstream continuously invests in new methods to ensure quality and reduce communication lines and turnaround time.

NORM containing sludge we treat and separate, so that only the NORM goes to approved final processors. Other waste streams are stripped after analysis. In this way we reduce the volume of the NORM waste stream and contribute to the correct classification and disposal of waste according to Dutch and German legislation.

Cleanstream also processes NORM waste streams. Plastics, filter materials, PPE and other substances are sorted according to the European Waste List (EURAL), sampled and disposed of.
