Sustainable solutions for mercury contamination with Cleanstream
We also decontaminate mercury-containing materials and objects in hard-to-reach places with MercurySolve. The threshold Cleanstream applies for their decontamination process is 1mg/kg.
By default, we first take a sample of the contamination, which we examine via an XRF analysis in our internal laboratory. The results will be shared with you, and only then will the damage-free cleaning take place. After decontamination, we take care of the disposal of the mercury-containing waste streams, whereby cleaned materials can be reused, or recycled for reuse.
MercurySolve
MercurySolve is also available for use at remote sites. Many of our customers use MercurySolve for decarbonizing plants before work is done on the plant. It is particularly efficient during decommissioning. No exposure to employees and less disposal of residual materials for decontamination!
Mercury-containing sludge treatment
We treat and separate sludge containing mercury so that only the mercury goes to approved final processors. In our laboratory, we can measure the mercury content in liquids.
