Cleanstream BV is an international company in decontamination projects
Cleanstream BV comes into being in August 2014 as part of Norsco Group BV. Founder and director of Cleanstream, Bert. H. Platje, entered the oil and gas industry as early as 1981. With years of experience under its belt, the first decontamination projects are carried out in 2015. It brings with it a growth of the team of radiation experts.
Expansion to the existing facilities will take place in 2017 with the construction of a hall. Cleanstream continues to grow, as does the demand for efficient decontamination while preserving materials for reuse or recycling. As a result, a new decontamination hall of no less than 2,000m3 is coming in 2019. In 2020, Cleanstream will go international with the founding of Cleanstream Deutschland GmbH in Gera.
Sadly, founder Bert H. Platje passed away on May 19, 2021. The loss is great, but also provides decisiveness to continue his vision and ideas unabated.

2014
Founding
In August 2014, Cleanstream BV is established as part of Norsco Group BV.
Bert H. Platje, founder and director of Cleanstream B.V., made his entry into the oil & gas industry as early as 1981.
After many years of experience in own companies that were successfully taken over, Bert starts a new adventure together with his wife Zwanny.
2015
First projects
The first decontamination projects are implemented and the team of radiation experts grows.
2017
New hall
A new hall is being built to the existing facilities for decontamination work.
2019
Expansion
The company is growing because of its efficient method of decontamination that preserves materials and equipment for reuse or recycling.
This will begin construction of a new 2000m3 decontamination hall.
2020
Cleanstream Deutschland
Cleanstream Deutschland GmbH will be founded in August 2020.
2021
Death of Bert H. Platje
On May 19, 2021, our director and inspiration Bert H. Platje passed away. He is missed as a partner, father, director and person.
His vision and thought leadership continue.
2022
Decontamination hall in Germany
A decontamination hall will open in Gera Germany in May 2022.
2023
Mercurysolve
Cleanstream developed Mercurysolve. A mercury decontamination liquid that can also be applied to third-party sites.
2025
New facility
In 2025, a new facility in Gußnitz Germany will be purchased and a 2000m2 decontamination hall will be built.
